Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, including NASA as well as Space Force, Space Force and commercial space businesses to the rise of space tourism. Kristin is her mother was one of NASA astronauts, and also an enthusiastic space lover, grew up immersed in the field. She worked for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy during the Trump and Biden Administrations. As she covered the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, and both administrations attempts to stop the spread of coronavirus, Kristin covered a lot of other subjects. Kristin traveled frequently, and both with the president and vice president. She even went on a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Before being hired by the channel in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels including Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin used her experience in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films. It was also a favourite of corporate clients like Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree of journalism at Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C., with her family, including their 3-year-old daughter.
