LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball star. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He's often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous player. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is second in greatest number of goals in his career and seventh in assists. James has been named for the NBA All Star team 18 times. He was named to be an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He was also selected for be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third-highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten and eight of them were consecutive between 2011 and 2018. James joined the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was one of the few NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent-St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. The national media praised James as a possible NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was chosen for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. After being named 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he rapidly established himself as a premier player in the NBA winning the MVP award in both 2009 and 2010 for the NBA. in 2009 and 2010 James, who was unable to take home the title at Cleveland in 2010 left as a free agent and joined the Miami Heat.
